THE STATUS QUO VS DELTA SQUAD (MADNESS COMBAT/STAR WARS)

CONNECTIONS:

Two groups consisting of four skilled well-trained elite soldiers who look visually identical to a long line of human-like entities similar to them (Grunts/Clone) who are fighting in a long-time war between two factions (The Status Quo vs the A.A.H.W/The Republic vs the Separtists) being planned and thought out by an cruel and malicious entity wanting to keep the war warning for their own agendas (Palpatine/The Auditor), with each member of the team looking visually similar but with slight differences in design and their role in the team.

Both groups are the main protagonists of their own story (Madness Combat/Republic Commando), which follows them on their missions to try and take out the opposing factions, their constant forces and deplete them without as much worry as possible in bloody gunfights and skirmishes (Madness follows Hank, Sanford and Deimos who are usually seen gunning down A.A.H.W soldiers during their raids on A.A.H.W buildings and bases with Doc, the leader behind the scenes/Republic Commando lets you take control of Delta-38/Boss, who commands his squad into multiple missions during the course of the game named "Delta Squad" consisting of four Clone Commandos.)

Each team member has their own signature role in the squad, meant to help out with the strength of the team, these include:

The de-facto leader, who is stoic and cold, usually giving out orders to the rest of their members, and usually helps them out with trouble if need be should the situation depend on it (Doc, tactical leader of the status quo, handing out objectives to the others on the field and the one who usually revives the others if they get killed during their missions/Delta 38 (Boss), who commands Delta Squad on the missions they go on, giving out orders to certain members and even reviving members if they're taken out.)

The serious and focussed member of the team who rarely lose their composure on missions, usually getting annoyed by some of the antics their less serious squad members do when they're partnered with, who's preferred weapon of choice of a melee weapon (Sanford, the medic and demolitions expert who is usually partnered up with Deimos on missions they go together, with the former being far more focussed then latter, showing annoyance when Deimos pranks him in MC9, who's preferred weapon of choice is actually a hook/Delta 40 (Fixer), the second in command of Delta Squad, a skilled hacker and textbook soldier, constantly getting annoyed with Scorch in the comms when he makes jokes during missions or when bantering with Sev, trying to keep the squad focussed on their objectives, with his preferred weapon being the Katarn-Armor gauntlet vibroblade he has)

The lighthearted comedian of the bunch, despite being just as well-trained, they won't hesitate to make jokes with the rest of their squad or at the enemies' expense, usually mocking them in some way shape or form with both also bantering with a respective squad member alot on missions, as well as having their own respective skills they're quite good at. (Deimos, who is far more laidback compared to his more stone-cold comrades, usually partnered up with Sanford who often deals with his shenanigans during missions together and making fun of his enemies when he feels like it, but despite that he is rather skilled in technology and is an expert at hacking into devices and such/Delta 62 (Scorch), the demolitions expert of Delta Squad and the one to have a lighthearted sense of humor, usually bantering with his brothers he is partnered with (especially Sev) and making jokes at any threats the squad come across, and being the soul of the team itself with his lighthearted jokes and personality when he's around) Both also have an addiction (Smoking/Bacta)

The most ruthless and bloodthirsty hunter of the team, constantly wanting to kill something, or someone with a very intimidating demeanour, showing sadistic pleasure in the kills they get to match with a violent sense of humor to match with their bloodlust, no matter what threat it is. (Hank J Wimbleton, the silent main protagonist and the most violent member of the Status Quo, racking up a bodycount in the thousands, with alot of brutally messed up kills on said bodycount and having a violent sense of humor on rare occasions (That one time he shoved multiple A.A.H.W agents and a Mag Agent into a blender)/Delta-07 (Sev), the gruff sounding bloodthirsty hunter of the squad and marksman, who often talks about how much he wants to kill any threat he comes across and often counting the kills he gets during missions, intending to get a number of 4,932 for all the dead Clones on Geonosis)

Both squads during their stories come across multiple hostiles on their missions and the overall stories, with each threat they come across looking visually different each time in terms of appearance and strength (The Status Quo usually has to fight Mag Agents, Zombies, A.A.H.W Soldiers and even paranormal entities that don't belong to Nevada such as Retainers and even the Auditor himself during the series/Delta Squad having to fight off Battle droids, super battle droids, Geonosians, and Trandoshans during the course of the game)

Both squads at times can get separated from eachother during the course of the story, and have to do separate tasks away from themselves should the situation depend on it or if the odds aren't in their favor (Madness Combat mainly follows Hank on his own at times gunning down A.A.H.W buildings, Sanford and Deimos together as a duo at times, with Sanford and Hank grouping up in MC 9-11, and Doc staying behind watching over their progress/Delta Squad normally spend the missions together, but sometimes they'll have get separated and have to regroup after doing respective tasks (The start of the game, the Deltas are separated on Geonosis twice with one time being at the start and two when they get to the droid factory, and the RAS Prosecutor with each four members going to the respective data cores on their own whilst dealing with Trandoshans)

Despite their well-trained and hardened personalities, both squad seem to have a genuine sense of trust with each other when working together and try to aid one another, and even at times with some members being genuinely saddened if something happens to them (The Status Quo mainly seem to revive eachother if one dies, mainly Hank as he keeps getting revived by Doc over the course of the series the more he dies, alongside Sanford and Deimos who were meant to retrieve his corpse during MC-9, with Sanford being genuinely saddened to find out Deimos had been killed later on once Hank was revived as a Mag. Deimos also went ahead to revive Sanford, helping him out of hell and even being shocked to see a corrupted illusion of him back in "Dedmos' adventure" thinking it was actually him/Delta Squad are brothers, and are usually assisting eachother and being angry if one of their members goes down during a battle showing a sense of vengeance for their comrade, with them even reviving and aiding a fallen squad member during firefights with bacta, and on the Prosecutor trying to regroup after being seperated under the threat of Trandoshans, there is also the fact that none of the members wanted to leave Sev behind on Kashyyyk after he was attacked by multiple hostiles, with Boss and the rest of the Deltas being forced to evac despite not wanting to)

Both squads have appeared in multiple other related things in their own franchises (The Status Quo appearing in multiple games, such as Project Nexus and Hank himself being the playable character in Accelerant/Delta Squad being prominent in books, The Clone Wars and Scorch even appearing in the Bad batch as an antagonist)

MINOR CONNECTIONS:

Both Deimos and Scorch gain notable changes overtime, with Deimos gaining rock-like powers after his first death, becoming more powerful whilst Scorch becomes a silent, hardened soldier barely cracking jokes and feeling like a hollow shell of himself.

Both of the ruthless hunters and comedians are widely considered to be the "fan favorites" of the groups (Hank and Deimos/Sev and Scorch)

CONTRASTS:

Both the comedian and serious ones have their roles reversed (Fixer and Deimos are the technological experts, whilst Sanford and Scorch are the demolitions experts)

The Ruthless hunters are quite the opposite in terms of status (Hank is constantly revived time and time again after death, whilst Sev is often theorized to either be dead or alive after being left behind due to not being able to be revived)

Both leaders have a different role compared to the hunters (Hank usually takes lead of the Status Quo, whilst Doc is the tactical one behind the scenes/Boss is the front and center leader of Delta Squad, whilst Sev is specialized in marksmanship, which means staying out of fire and in the back)

The focussed ones usually can be different when it comes to how they act at times when with their squads (Sanford has been shown to have a sense of humor, more outgoing personality in the Project Nexus Games/Fixer is...well, he's basically a killjoy personified)

Sci-Fi Weapons vs Regular Weapons

Squad who originated from a series, then appears in a game later on vs Squad who originated from a game, then appears in a series later on
